Responsibilities
Oversee dispatch planning, driver scheduling, and equipment utilization to maximize efficiency
Monitor terminal financial performance, including P&L statements, revenue reports, and operating costs
Hire, train, and lead terminal drivers and non-driver personnel, ensuring compliance with operating policies
Partner closely with safety and maintenance teams to keep equipment inspections and maintenance on schedule
Manage terminal inventory, purchasing, and security while ensuring regulatory compliance
Participate in customer meetings and develop effective solutions to operational challenges
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in transportation and logistics
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to adapt to schedule changes and unexpected events
Above-average computer and administrative skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office required
Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Terminal management or dispatch leadership experience preferred
