Responsibilities
Own and continually improve the monthly and year-end close, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
Maintain general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and financial statement accuracy
Develop and document accounting policies, procedures, and controls aligned with U.S. GAAP
Standardize end-to-end accounting workflows across core cycles (billing/collections, payables, payroll, customer revenue)
Drive process improvements that strengthen scalability, efficiency, and consistency
Support integration of future acquisitions through standardized playbooks and disciplined execution
Partner cross-functionally to provide practical insights on cash flow, working capital, and business decisions
Lead, hire, and develop the accounting team as the organization scales
Support external partners as needed (audit, tax, and transaction-related requests)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership
Experience building or improving accounting processes in a growing environment (services, software, or hybrid business models)
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, revenue accounting concepts, and internal controls
Proven ability to document, standardize, and improve workflows with a scalability mindset
Strong leadership and communication skills; comfortable partnering across teams and levels
Experience with modern accounting and financial reporting platforms
