Required

BSEE, Masters or Advanced Degree preferred

7 + Years controls experience in the Development of motor control algorithms and firmware for high power generation (600VDC +) of electric motors and inverters

Must have experience with high-speed permanent magnet machines, power electronics, magnetic bearings & methods to control the output voltage of a three-phase inverter for switching power transistors

Strong Knowledge of digital, analog and power electronic circuits

C++ / C

Modeling and simulation of electric drives & inverter fault handling: MATLAB/Simulink/Plecs

Bus protocols: SPI, I2C, CAN, RS485

Microcontrollers: TI C2000 series, TI Sitara, NXP MPC, or NXP S32k

Space Vector PWM (SVPWM), Sinusoidal PWM (SPWM), & Discontinuous PWM (DPWM)
