Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple residential multifamily properties

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely vendor payments, accurate tenant receivables, and proper coding

Prepare and post journal entries, perform bank and escrow reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger for each property

Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes in accordance with ownership deadlines

Prepare, review, and analyze property-level financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports

Assist with annual operating budgets, reforecasts, and variance analysis in collaboration with property management and ownership

Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, lender requirements, and ownership reporting standards

Support annual audits, tax preparation, and coordination with external accountants and CPAs

Partner with property managers and operations teams to resolve discrepancies, improve financial accuracy, and optimize property performance
