CRM Sr. Manager
Nugs is a leading live-music platform that has evolved from a fan site into a major player in the music streaming industry. The CRM Sr. Manager will be pivotal in shaping email, mobile, and lifecycle marketing campaigns to drive subscriber growth, retention, and engagement. This role involves collaboration with various teams to define and execute content marketing and brand strategies.

Responsibilities
Own the CRM channel strategy across email and mobile, with laser focus on fan lifecycles and performance
Design, launch, and optimize programs that guide users from trial to retained to evangelist
Continuously monitor performance signals and apply learnings throughout the user flow
Maintain a clear testing roadmap across activations to drive incremental results and business learnings
Build and interpret reporting dashboards that connect CRM performance to subscriber growth, retention, revenue, and app engagement
Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations that shape channel and business strategy
Identify opportunities for new fan paths, audience segments and event triggers based on behavioral and usage data
Guide content and messaging direction for email and push, supported by editorial resources where needed
Ensure campaigns are aligned with artist release calendars, livestream schedules, archive drops, and seasonal programming
Craft compelling fan-first messaging that speaks authentically to passionate live-music communities
Lead the relationship with our CRM agency partner, clearly defining priorities, deliverables, timelines, and quality standards
Manage CRM platform configuration, data flows, databases, data integrity, event triggers, and integrations to support scalable lifecycle automation
Review and approve agency-built campaigns, journeys, designs, and logic
Coordinate with marketing, product, and production teams to align communication strategy with overall company and artist priorities
Qualification
Required
4-year degree from an accredited institution in Business, or Marketing; or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience in CRM leadership role with a strong foundation in lifecycle marketing and email best practices
Previous experience in content marketing and/or a subscription based service is a must
Proficiency in advanced CRM platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Adobe Experience, etc), with a solid grasp on marketing and analytics suites
You must be innately curious, data driven, and analytical in nature - with a flair for creativity
Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills. Copywriting is a major part of this role
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, small-team environment, taking initiative to lead projects and manage your own queue
Knowledge of our artists, and a passion for live music is a must
