Responsibilities

Serves as the Supervisory IT Specialist for the Program Management Office (PMO), overseeing technical and organizational activities that support software systems, applications, and emerging IT capabilities
Provides technical leadership and oversight for the development, modernization, and sustainment of the PMO's enterprise applications, ensuring systems meet federal acquisition, cybersecurity, and interoperability requirements
Oversees multidisciplinary IT teams, system integration and data management activities, ensuring systems interface effectively with other federal procurement, financial, and logistics platforms
Coordinate with senior stakeholders across program offices, contracting organizations, and external agencies to define requirements, prioritize enhancements, and resolve complex technical issues
Ensure compliance with federal IT policies, including cybersecurity, cloud governance, configuration management, and enterprise architecture standards

One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position
To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent
Uses application programming interfaces (APIs) and in Agile and hybrid low-code application development to support Low-Code/ No-Code Development Platform models
Identifies, tracks and assesses standard metrics for environmental software support processes
Provides guidance to subordinates and ensures support is provided in technical and management reviews and in Request For Proposal (RFP) development for acquisition of hardware, software or services
Designs comprehensive surveys and studies involving the formulation, coordination, and implementation of long-range plans and enterprise programs
Directs in-depth analysis and investigations of specific process issues
Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail
Customer Service - Works with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations
Oral Communication - Expresses information to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information
Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations
