Responsibilities
Drive automation and workflow improvements through innovative LLM solutions and strategies that balance speed, function, and long-term robustness
Work closely with and assist clinical editors and copy editors in more efficient and accurate content creation
Rapid prototyping of generative AI applications
Full-stack development from proof-of-concept to front-end UI
Evaluate, measure, and improve performance on a continuous basis
Develop ETL/data pre-processing workflows to structure and manage clinical content for LLM pipelines
Collaborate with clinical editors to prioritize new use cases for development and obtain feedback on existing solutions
Work with data scientists to rigorously evaluate various strategies for optimizing prompts
Stay up to date on industry developments
Qualification
Required
3+ years of full-time software engineering experience
Python advanced proficiency
Experience with modern front-end web technologies, such as React.js
Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud computing
Experience with MLOps tools and practices (e.g. CI/CD pipelines, containerized services, etc)
Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
Collaborative mindset
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience building generative AI solutions with OpenAI
Proficiency in leveraging RAG, chunking, and embedding techniques in AI solutions
Health technology domain experience
Experience working with clinicians
