Akron Children's is dedicated to providing quality services, and they are seeking an Office Coordinator to meet administrative and secretarial requirements for department management. The role involves maintaining office organization, overseeing clerical staff, and developing efficient office systems.

Responsibilities
Meets administrative and secretarial requirements of the office
Responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly office environment
Monitors safe and reliable functioning of office equipment and facility
Trains and oversees the work of clerical staff in all functional areas
Communicates with other offices, hospital departments, and outside agencies
Researches appointment, scheduling, billing and customer service problems for patients/families
Works to develop systems/procedures to help the office run more efficiently
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Meets administrative and secretarial requirements of the office

Experience with maintaining confidential information is required
Experience working with all levels within an organization is required
Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required
Years of relevant experience: 3 years
Preferred
Experience in healthcare
Associate's degree
Electronic Medical Record software and scheduling software
