Responsibilities
Oversight of both the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) InVitro Fertilization (IVF/Embryology) Laboratory and the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology (DLMP) Fertility Testing (Andrology) Laboratory
Monitoring quality control, record-keeping, and quality assurance as well as ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
Oversight of our IVF and Fertility Testing Labs, including collaboration with the Mayo Clinic Department of Medical Genetics, Center for Individualized Medicine, and Center for Regenerative Medicine
Qualification
Required
Certification as a High Complexity Lab Director (HCLD) as defined by the American Board of Bioanalysis
Membership in the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology
Accreditation of the Lab by the College of American Pathologists
Preferred
An on-site laboratory director is desired
