Vice President for Strategy and Engagement
Connie Maxwell Children's Ministries is seeking a Vice President for Strategy and Engagement to help transform the organization into a nationwide model for trauma-informed, Christ-centered healing. This role will focus on external engagement, fundraising strategy, and relational execution to ensure alignment with the organization's mission and approach.
Responsibilities
Set and guide CMCM’s overall strategy for engaging donors, churches, volunteers, alumni, and community partners
Ensure all engagement reflects Connie Maxwell Children’s Ministries relational, Christ-centered philosophy
Oversight of: Annual Fund, Major Gifts, Planned Giving, Endowment growth
Work alongside the VP for Advancement to diversify and strengthen revenue streams
Assist with ongoing and future capital campaign efforts
Provide leadership over CMCM’s marketing and communications strategy to ensure clarity, consistency, and mission alignment
Strengthen volunteer systems and deepen church partnerships, ensuring engagement remains relational rather than transactional
Lead and develop a team of direct reports, fostering unity, encouragement, and shared purpose
Model collaboration across departments and alignment with executive leadership
Qualification
Required
Experience in external engagement and fundraising strategy
Ability to execute an established plan with humility and teachability
Strong relational skills to engage with donors, partners, churches, volunteers, and communities
Leadership experience in marketing and communications strategy
Experience in strengthening volunteer systems and church partnerships
Proven ability to lead and develop a team, fostering unity and collaboration
Alignment with Connie Maxwell Children's Ministries' relational, Christ-centered philosophy
