In this role, you will oversee daily operations, assign tasks, mentor team members, and ensure adherence to cold storage standards while promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities
Safely operate stand-up forklifts to keep orders moving and customers happy
Handle products with care in cold storage and blast zone areas
Monitor and maintain cold storage temperature standards
Assign daily tasks to Warehouse Associates and Forklift Operators
Coach and mentor team members with on-the-job training
Assist in scheduling, planning, and day-to-day operational flow
Conduct policy/procedure audits in the warehouse and trailers
Help resolve conflicts, promote a positive work environment, and drive team performance
Coordinate with the Warehouse Trainer to ensure skill certification and growth
Lead by example, especially during shift transitions and high-demand periods
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize operations
Tackle other duties like a pro — all within your training and expertise
Qualification
Required
3+ years of warehouse or logistics experience
Comfortable working full shifts in cold storage/freezer environments
Must have the physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs safely and consistently
Ability to coach and train team members effectively
Strong interpersonal and leadership communication skills
Confidence in handling work assignments, delegation, and shift leadership
Experience in resolving employee issues professionally and constructively
A true team player who works toward common goals
Brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic every day
Experience or training in: GMP, HACCP, and Allergen protocols
Strong knowledge of safety procedures in cold storage settings
