Responsibilities
Develop high-performance algorithms on biological sequence analysis
Analyze high-throughput sequencing data and interpret results to write reports and summaries of findings, including grant preparation and presentations, and look for opportunities to co-author publications. Will be expected to participate in formal and informal presentations of results to staff and collaboration partners
Participate in grant application process and manuscript preparation. Further, will be responsible for preparing reports for collaborators
Expected to provide intellectual and interactive commitment to position by keeping up with appropriate literature and research publications
Responsible for designing and executing advanced analytic methods and setting strategy
Responsible for communications and managing interactions with collaborators
Responsible for meeting project deliverables and timelines
Performs other responsibilities as required
Qualification
Required
Perform scientific research, development and/or clinical tasks of varying complexity
Maintain a professional demeanor in communications with collaborators
Take necessary initiative to meet project timelines and deliverables
Develop high-performance algorithms on biological sequence analysis
Analyze high-throughput sequencing data and interpret results to write reports and summaries of findings
Participate in grant application process and manuscript preparation
Prepare reports for collaborators
Provide intellectual and interactive commitment to position by keeping up with appropriate literature and research publications
Design and execute advanced analytic methods and set strategy
Manage communications and interactions with collaborators
Meet project deliverables and timelines
Perform other responsibilities as required
