Montgomery County Government is seeking a TERM Office Services Coordinator to join the Department of Health and Human Services. This role is essential for providing administrative, clerical, and customer service support to ensure the smooth functioning of health programs for the community.

Responsibilities

Providing front desk and phone support - greeting visitors, answering calls, and directing residents to appropriate health programs and services
Entering and maintaining confidential customer information in State and County databases
Maintaining accurate records and documentation required for audits, onboarding/offboarding of staff, and program compliance
Assisting with data collection and preparing routine reports to support program performance and grant requirements
Coordinating procurement of supplies, equipment, and services; supporting logistics for outreach and training events – Delivering courteous, professional customer service in a high-volume environment while safeguarding confidentiality

Required

Four (4) years of progressively responsible office support experience
Graduation from high school or High School Certificate of Completion recognized in the State of Maryland
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be substituted

Preferred

Knowledge of Federal, State, and local benefits programs
Experience in providing multiple administrative functions or support in a time-sensitive environment requiring confidentiality
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) including spreadsheet and data-base management
Experience reviewing/reconciling data and preparing related reports
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
