Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking a 3D Modeling & Printing Intern to join their Cincinnati, Ohio team. The intern will support the 3D Printing/Modeling Animation team in providing models for marketing and building client relationships in civil engineering.

Responsibilities

Produce product models to the field marketing team for demonstrations to civil engineering clients

Provide quality designed and scaled 3D models

Establish a rapport and work effectively with internal members from all infrastructure teams to achieve their goals

Respond to marketing requests in a timely manner

Good communication is required with immediate team members

Manage and track projects in the 3d printing queue while monitoring the quality of active 3d prints

Maintain the list of 3D printing scales and print slicer requirements

Import model STL’s into the appropriate 3D Slicer (Creality/Bamboo/Cure/Orca)

Troubleshoot and maintain 3D Printing equipment

Interact with a laser etch machine and cut base plates using appropriate equipment

Assemble modular 3D printed models
