Responsibilities
Primary responsibility for the safe operation of R&D prototype power and cooling systems
Develop and document system operating manuals and protocols
Develop and document system maintenance procedures and safety policies
Interpret equipment supplier’s manuals, drawings, cut sheets, notes, and sketches
Manage time and efforts toward completing tasks on time and within budget
Domestic and international travel may be required
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with an emphasis on thermal fluid systems or machinery
Minimum 3-years' experience operating high pressure and temperature power or process equipment
Strong knowledge of engineering theory, principles, practices, and their applications
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Windows and MS Office Suite tools
Ability to work independently and in a small team environment
Ability to interact effectively with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts
Preferred
Experience with cryogenic fluid systems is a plus
Working knowledge of mechanical codes and regulations a plus (ASME, API, ANSI, NEMA, etc.)
