Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate EVS staff; provide guidance and performance feedback

Operations Management: Oversee daily cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance tasks in assigned areas (e.g., patient rooms, common areas, offices)

Quality Assurance: Inspect work, conduct audits, and investigate issues to ensure high standards are met

Standards & Compliance: Ensure adherence to infection control, chemical safety, waste management, and other regulatory standards (crucial in healthcare)

Resource Management: Monitor, inventory, and distribute cleaning supplies and equipment; report needs

Coordination: Communicate with other departments (nursing, maintenance) to coordinate tasks and address facility needs

Hands-On Work: Perform cleaning duties as needed, including operating equipment and deep cleaning

Required

High school diploma

3 years of Environmental Services experience

Ability to work with PPE and lift/move supplies

Understanding of facility-specific needs
