Responsibilities
Conduct research, data analysis, and reports for planning and zoning issues
Interpret zoning codes, land development regulations, and comprehensive plans
Prepare recommendations for site plans, variances, and rezonings
Assist with public outreach, special projects, and presentations to boards
Support long-term initiatives related to sustainability, economic growth, and transportation planning
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, or related field
Considerable full-time professional level planning experience in the area of urban planning
Knowledge of Florida planning regulations and public hearing procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical mindset with a passion for community impact
Preferred
Master's degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, or related field
