Responsibilities
Lead and expand a team of cloud platform engineers, DevOps professionals, and platform developers focused on networking, compute, and automation domains
Define and execute the platform engineering vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities, security standards, and regulatory requirements
Champion digital transformation through modern infrastructure, platform automation, and continuous delivery practices
Collaborate with enterprise architects, cybersecurity leaders, and business stakeholders to deliver resilient, compliant, and high-performing cloud solutions
Oversee design and delivery of application and platform architecture to support scalable financial systems
Drive operational excellence across the full SDLC, ensuring reliability, observability, and continuous improvement
Manage platform cost optimization, utilization forecasting, and performance governance across multiple business units
Promote engineering best practices, including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and container orchestration
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience designing, managing, and scaling AWS cloud infrastructure, focusing on compute, storage, and AI/ML services
Proven leadership managing small to mid-sized engineering teams and delivering enterprise-scale platform initiatives
Deep technical expertise in application design, architecture, and cloud-native systems
Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and/or Go for infrastructure automation and platform services
Experience leading hybrid cloud environments and implementing modern DevOps and SRE principles
AWS Services: EKS, EC2, ECS, ECR, Fargate, Lambda, Image Builder, CloudFormation, and Terraform
AI/ML Tools: SageMaker, Bedrock, Kendra, Lex, Textract, MLflow, Argo Workflows, and SageMaker Pipelines
Containerization & Orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS); experience with Apache Flink is a strong plus
Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting languages such as Bash or Python
Networking & Security: Solid understanding of VPC design, IAM, encryption, network segmentation, and compliance frameworks
Version Control & CI/CD: Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, IDEs, and modern CI/CD automation pipelines
