Responsibilities
Has experience with implementing mid market ERP solutions
Understands the Implementation Methodology
Prepared to learn the Acumatica product sufficiently to assist the team with the implementation
Learns, utilizes, and promotes the company’s Implementation Methodology and best practices
Collaborating with team leads/managers to appropriately resource project, alerts management when resources are lacking
Leads team members to ensure the successful implementation of Acumatica ERP and key third-party products in a timely manner and within budget, resulting in highly satisfied, referenceable clients
Develop viable and effective project and resource plans for implementations
Utilizes project management skills to track performance of project from inception to completion
Works with management to keep projects on schedule and recommends needed action to meet deadlines
Successfully working with clients to ensure an alignment of scope and expectations
Ensures project scope and business requirements are met by the implementation consultants and takes steps to avoid scope creep
Oversees the documentation of gap analysis to proposed solution rollout
Ensures completion of project documentation such as: Functional Requirements Document, User Acceptance Test Scenarios, and End User Training Documentation/Quick Reference Guides
Conducts effective planning sessions with clients at project inception stage
Clearly outlines the commercial scope of a client engagement
Communicates tasks, timelines, and logistics to internal and external team members
Proactively identifies and manages risks & project financials throughout the project lifecycle
Proactively identifies new opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
Setup and maintain project and resource activities across internal business systems
Attend and contribute to critical implementation meetings, such as client facing workshops and project weekly update meetings
Maintain and grow strong senior leadership relationships with clients
Completion and communication of project status reporting on a timely and regular basis
Ensures all tasks relating to requirements gathering, feature testing, solution testing, and user acceptance testing are tracked on project plan, documented and time spent is controlled as per hours budgeted
Plans end user training for Clients in one on one, webinar, and classroom style settings and documents this in project plan, ensures resources are available for training
Creates task lists and checks all tasks required during Go Live cut-over
Escalates project risk and scope creep to stakeholders and AIM management
Facilitates demonstrations of solutions to Clients by consultants as required
Responsible for all communication with the Clients during the project implementation
Obtain and maintain Acumatica ERP certifications, as applicable
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
3-5 years of professional work experience in the implementation of ERP systems. Acumatica, NetSuite, Sage, D365 - MUST HAVE
Highly proficient in Excel
Strong understanding of software implementation life cycle, project management, business process management, requirements definition, functional design, quality management, and change management
Strong understanding and proven record of accounting fundamentals and how it applies to configuration of the software
Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and day-to-day activities in a fast paced environment
PMP desirable or equivalent 5 years of experience as a mid-Tier ERP project manager
Experience with Acumatica preferred
