Content & Community Manager
HearthSim is seeking a creative Content & Community Manager to build and grow their content across various channels. The role involves planning and executing email campaigns, collaborating on blog content, managing community interactions, and maintaining a unified content calendar.

Responsibilities
Plan, write, design email campaigns and optimize email automation content
Collaborate with our SEO manager to produce high-quality blog content: from outlining to polishing final drafts
Leveraging AI properly to produce quality content often
Brief, manage, and review creative freelancers to produce ads, blogs and channel-specific assets (videos included)
Work closely with the ad manager to ensure all creative is formatted, sized, and ready for distribution across paid channels
Preparing copy on the website for different steps of the customer journey
Stay attuned to player discourse on social media and the current meta game
Adapt and post content across Twitter, Discord, and other active channels, tailored to each platform’s voice and culture
Help grow and moderate our community spaces: syncing with power users, amplifying trends, and escalating insights to the marketing team
Support influencer/creator relations when collaboration opportunities arise (surface candidates, draft briefs, and prep assets)
Maintain a unified content calendar across email, blog, social, ads and community
Coordinate cross-channel rollout of product updates, seasonal campaigns, or special announcements
Jump into broader marketing or community needs as they emerge. We're growing fast, and the role will evolve in exciting ways
Qualification
Required
Creative Content & Community Manager
Ability to build and grow across email, social, SEO, and community channels
Experience in writing email flows, briefing freelancers on video assets, and creating blogs
Passionate about gaming, especially in the CCG space
Plan, write, design email campaigns and optimize email automation content
Collaborate with SEO manager to produce high-quality blog content
Leverage AI to produce quality content
Brief, manage, and review creative freelancers for ads, blogs, and channel-specific assets
Work closely with ad manager to ensure creative is formatted and ready for distribution
Prepare copy on the website for different steps of the customer journey
Stay attuned to player discourse on social media and the current meta game

Passionate CCG player in at least Hearthstone or Magic: The Gathering
Created content across multiple channels (email, blog, social)
Good design eye, basic Figma/Canva skills
Enjoy communities and understand how to engage and build trust
Write in a clear, friendly, gamer-friendly tone
Communicate a soft or hard sale via written and visual content
Organized enough to run a content calendar and manage multiple workflows
Experience leveraging AI to produce, edit and publish at scale
Strong English writing skills (grammar, structure, tone, and clarity)
Experience with email tools (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Omnisend, etc.), Discord moderation, and basic SEO
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, English, Journalism, or a related field
Equivalent hands-on experience creating digital content, managing communities, and working across multiple marketing channels
