Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineering teams to identify testing requirements and specifications of engineering tools and processes

Develop, plan and coordinate the execution of test plans for the validation of engineering processes and tools pre-production

Work closely with Engineering functions to identify testers to align with the plans

Ensure thorough communication to all stakeholders during development and execution of test plans

Facilitate thorough testing and validation of engineering tools to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with the business

Capture and analyze test results and provide detailed reports on progress/performance to plan

Capture, prioritize and assign issues for resolutions

Ensure continuous improvements in the efficiency of our testing methodologies

Develop and implement best practices for testing and validation

Consult with Engineering teams to discover continuous improvement opportunities and to adopt new testing and validation best-practices

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in engineering tools and processes test and validation methods

Required

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master +8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)

Proven experience in testing and validation of engineering processes and tools in a high velocity and pressure environment

Strong understanding of engineering principles/methodologies and CADCAM tools

Strong understanding in IT software deployment

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools

Strong project management skills and methodologies

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details

Strong communication and collaboration skills
