Responsibilities
Collaborate with peers within AAV gene therapies and broader research teams to evaluate AAV gene therapy candidate properties and function
Participate in designing and producing novel AAV gene therapies candidates
Develop cell-based biological assays
Author and review protocols, electronic notebook entries, technical reports, and scientific publications
Maintain proper documentation of experimental procedures and results
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences discipline (must be conferred by June 2026)
Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in molecular biology
Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with in vitro assay development
Experience working with AAV
Entrepreneurial spirit, proactive problem-solving attitude and strong willingness to take on new challenges
Exceptionally self-motivated and independent
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Preferred
Knowledge of immunology
Hands-on experience with flow cytometry
Hands-on experience with in vivo work
Experience designing and evaluating AAV gene therapies
Experience designing and executing library-based expression screens
