Responsibilities
Lead the go-to-market strategy for outsourced finance and accounting services, positioning the firm as a strategic partner for finance transformation
Originate new business and expand existing relationships, focusing on clients seeking scalable, tech-enabled finance solutions
Build and deepen alliances with key platform providers including Sage Intacct, NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, BlackLine, and Workiva
Represent the firm at industry events, participate in speaking engagements, and serve as a visible thought leader in the modernization of finance functions
Serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs and finance leaders across target industries, helping them navigate growth, compliance, and operational efficiency
Oversee the delivery of end-to-end outsourced solutions —including general ledger management, month-end close, dashboards, cash flow forecasting, board reporting, and KPI analysis
Advise clients on process design, system optimization, and the use of AI-powered automation, workflow tools, and connected reporting platforms
Ensure delivery excellence and long-term client satisfaction through strategic oversight and proactive problem-solving
Build and lead a high-performing team of controllers, accountants, analysts, and finance advisors
Define and scale a delivery model that combines human expertise with intelligent automation, enabling real-time visibility, data-driven decisions, and reduced manual effort
Standardize offerings and delivery playbooks leveraging modern tools, including ERP & GL Platforms: Sage Intacct, NetSuite, QuickBooks Online; Close & Reconciliation: BlackLine; Connected Reporting: Workiva; Forecasting & BI: Power BI, Jirav, Vena, or similar
Collaborate across the firm’s Tax, Digital, Risk, and ESG teams to offer integrated, end-to-end client solutions
Own practice-level KPIs including P&L, utilization, margins, quality, and client retention
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience in accounting, controllership, or finance operations—ideally with 5+ years in a leadership or client-facing consulting role
Strong background advising clients in one or more target industries: financial services, healthcare, private equity, real estate, and professional services
Proven ability to sell and grow a $5M+ book of business in a professional services environment
Operational knowledge of GAAP, multi-entity structures, consolidations, revenue recognition, and financial reporting
Familiarity with modern finance platforms and tools, especially Sage Intacct, NetSuite, QuickBooks, BlackLine, Workiva, and FP&A automation platforms
Strong executive communication and relationship-building skills required
