Senior Technical Business Development Manager
Synergycom is a leading provider of business and IT consulting services, seeking a Senior Technical Business Development Manager to drive growth by securing new customers. The role focuses on prospecting and developing business opportunities within the IT service sector, requiring strong sales acumen and networking skills.
Responsibilities
Prospecting and securing new customers will be the focus
Ability to negotiate, create opportunities and close the deal
Have a proven track record in the service industry
Strong networking skills and dedication to follow-up
Exceptional verbal, speaking and written communication skills
Experience in Technical aspects of the IT industry
Experience working with and closing federal, state and local government contracts and clients a plus
A proven prospecting process
Must be well organized, efficient and detailed orientated
History of building a 'book of business'
Enjoys the challenge of finding new customers & competing for business
Experience in selling on-site consulting services and/or strategic staffing
Experience in selling on-site and offshore programs and/or projects
Travel required as dictated by business opportunities
Qualification
Required
10+ years of IT and/or Engineering services sales experience calling on C-level decision makers
Highly motivated, sales and results driven
Enjoys the challenge of finding new customers & competing for business
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to negotiate, create opportunities and close the deal
Have a proven track record in the service industry
Strong networking skills and dedication to follow-up
Exceptional verbal, speaking and written communication skills
Experience in Technical aspects of the IT industry
