Responsibilities

Follows all safety procedures and protocols

Keeps equipment and work areas clean and clear

Can use all equipment necessary and safely for packaging and line start up (i.e.: Sawzall, knife, tape measure, etc.)

Performs Quality checks as required

Ensures all packaging standards are being met

Ability to read and understand a Production order

Able to pack the correct number of pieces in the bundle, perform counts

Bundle wrapped, banded and cart set-up

Keeps up with their assigned line

Ability to assist and work as a team

Ability to do sub-processes (routing, notching, etc.)

Maintains packaging supplies

Able to help operators when lines are down

Basic understanding of how profiles go together

Ability to follow and understand all direction given by leadership

Preferred

Experience working in a manufacturing/distribution organization is preferred

Professional and Personable, ability to work individually as well as with a team
