Senior Human Resources Business Partner

LHH is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support clients across the New Jersey and New York markets. This hybrid role involves aligning HR initiatives with business objectives and serving as a key advisor and culture champion while driving HR strategy across various initiatives.

Responsibilities

Align HR initiatives with business objectives for distribution center and corporate client groups
Partner with senior operations leadership to enhance workforce planning, org design, and operational efficiency
Provide direction on culture, engagement, and change management efforts, especially across fast‑moving environments
Lead succession planning, performance management, and development planning across all levels
Coach leaders on building effective teams, managing performance, and fostering accountability
Implement L&D programs tailored to operations and distribution environments, consistent with internal HRBP best practices
Serve as the primary contact for complex employee relations matters within the distribution centers
Conduct investigations, guide corrective actions, and uphold a fair, consistent, and compliant workplace
Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure consistent hiring pipelines for high‑volume roles and salaried operations teams
Ensure compensation practices remain competitive and compliant with wage and hour regulations, especially across multi‑site operations
Partner with Total Rewards on compensation planning, HRIS accuracy, and workforce analytics

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
8+ years HR experience, including significant HR Business Partner exposure supporting distribution centers or operations
Demonstrated ability to influence leaders in complex, fast‑paced, labor‑intensive environments
Strong experience in employee relations, performance management, leadership coaching, and workforce planning
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict‑management skills
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution
Comfort operating in environments that require resilience, direct communication, and rapid problem‑solving
