Responsibilities

Perform mid-level to advanced CAD drafting and design duties using MicroStation and TopoDOT

Coordinate drafting efforts and provide guidance to less-experienced drafters

Create and update all types of drawings, including engineering and construction plans

Run calculations and ensure accuracy in all drafting work

Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure project objectives are met

Provide training and support for new or less-experienced employees

Travel to job sites for observation and to perform field work as needed, in all types of terrain and weather conditions

Required

Strong communication skills

Ability to contribute and work well on a team

Minimum of 5 years experience in CAD drafting with experience in civil engineering or related fields

Proficiency in MicroStation, TopoDOT, and SolidWorks

Knowledge of trigonometry

Valid driver's license with a good driving history

Preferred

Associate's degree in CAD Drafting or a related field

Basic understanding of land surveying principles
