In this hands-on technical role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications and backend services, collaborating closely with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into reliable solutions.

Responsibilities
Write “clean”, well-designed code, adhering to our tech’s standards and practices
Work with a team of senior and junior engineers in the development of cutting edge software solutions
Participate conversations around improving our code based and standardizing around best practices for our stack
Partner with architects to validate and design software solutions
Perform code reviews and deployment merges
Facilitate communication with product owners and business analysts to solve problems
Effectively estimate, groom, and deliver on sprint planning and sprint goals
Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
Participate in and contribute in scrum ceremonies and ideation sessions
Hold yourself and others accountable for delivery on timelines and functionality
Qualification
Required
12 years of solid engineering
True full stack, not more FE or BE
At least one year of PHP
5 years with Typescript with both NodeJS and React or NextJS
6+ years experience in a similar role
6+ years working with ReactJS and or NextJS
4+ years working with NodeJs
6+ years experience with relational databases(PostgreSQL)
Expertise in front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
Experience with NextJS
Experience with AWS
6+ years experience with relational databases(PostGres, MYSQL)
Experience developing and integrating with REST APIs
Experience working in an Agile environment with tools like JIRA
Experience with version control tools and best practice git principles
Software development experience with OOP languages
Native English Proficiency
Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A self-manager
Granular attention to detail
Data driven decision maker

A great attitude, a love of learning and a passion for technology
Preferred
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject preferred
Strong understanding of OOP best practices
Familiarity with one fully OOP language
Experience with PHP Laravel

Familiarity with the serverless framework
