Responsibilities
Create and maintain the markdown calendar for all relevant timelines and events
Create the consolidated markdown files for new store openings and ensure accuracy across systems
Manage entry of auto-close dates in the Flex Management system and oversee approval of weekly markdown authorizations
Process markdown extension requests and communicate approvals or changes to stakeholders
Execute markdown-related operational tasks, ensuring compliance with company standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align markdown strategies with merchandising goals
Serve as a liaison between merchandising, planning, and store operations teams for markdown-related initiatives
Provide timely updates and documentation to ensure smooth execution of markdown activities
Comprehensive Markdown Calendar for all relevant events
Consolidated markdown files for new store openings
Documentation supporting markdown extensions and approvals
Entry of auto-close dates in the Flex Management system
Qualification
Required
Retail Operations Expertise: Familiarity with markdown processes, store operations, and merchandising principles
Analytical Skills: Ability to consolidate and interpret markdown data for decision-making
Detail-Oriented & Organized: Strong ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy
Communication Skills: Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting updates clearly. Able to translate complex data and technical information into clear, concise language for diverse audiences
Technical Proficiency: Experience with Excel
