Quality Assurance Inspector -CNC
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to perform dimensional measurement and inspection of precision-machined parts and components. The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint-reading skills and hands-on experience with precision measuring tools, ensuring quality documentation in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Perform dimensional inspections of precision-machined components
Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and engineering drawings
Produce accurate, clear quality documentation and reports
Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles
Create First Piece Inspection files and data sheets using Word and Excel
Participate in Area Improvement Teams
Perform internal audits and conduct Gage R&R studies
Carry out both short-term and long-term capability studies
Travel to customer or supplier locations to address quality-related issues
Assist operators with data collection, control chart creation, and SPC interpretation
Provide training as required
Qualification
Required
Strong working knowledge of precision measurement tools and gauges, including: Calipers, micrometers, height gauges, air gauges, Optical comparators, Profilometers, CMM (especially CNC-controlled), OGP SmartScope
Familiarity with Autocam manufacturing instructions
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Ability to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
Use hands for handling tools, parts, and controls; reach with hands and arms
Must be able to lift and move up to 10 lbs regularly; up to 30 lbs frequently
Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to focus using microscopes, magnifiers, and optical comparators
Must be able to tolerate standard manufacturing environment conditions (moving machinery, airborne particles, electrically activated devices)
High school diploma, GED, or 3–5 years of relevant work experience
Ability to read and write in English
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Preferred
ASQ CQT certification preferred
Experience in medical device manufacturing is a plus
