Responsibilities

Handle inbound sales calls: Answer customer calls, stay updated on policies, and encourage sales while documenting requests

Assess and sell insurance products: Understand callers' needs, recommend additional financial services, complete phone applications, and refer leads as necessary

Follow up with customers: Reach out to offer extra coverage and maintain relationships with existing customers

Ensure confidentiality and compliance: Protect customer information and maintain necessary insurance licenses, following all company standards

Required

Obtain and maintain insurance licenses: Must have, or be able to secure, life, health, and accident insurance licenses within the first 90 days of employment if not already held. Mutual of Omaha will cover licensing test costs for up to three attempts

Proven sales experience with strong closing skills: Success in a sales-driven environment, comfortable handling objections, asking for the sale, and guiding customers to solutions that meet their needs

Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment: Able to quickly adjust to changing priorities, handle a high volume of inbound calls, and respond to challenges with focus, professionalism, and a positive attitude

Proficient in computer skills: Comfortable multitasking with software. Ability to set up and troubleshoot equipment as needed for a remote work environment

High speed broadband cable internet service with minimum upload/download speeds of 100MB download/50MB upload is required. Your Internet provider-supplied device must be hard-wired to a router and/or computer
