Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and improving the manufacturing process for assembly and CNC machining operations
Will look at capitol and automation projects and opportunities for process improvements
Will spearhead cost reduction programs for material selection and supplier selection to reduce overall cost of products
Design, evaluate, and implement automated and semi-automated manufacturing processes, including robotic systems, to improve efficiency, quality, repeatability, and throughput
Collaborate on the specification, integration, and optimization of robotics, automation equipment, and control systems within manufacturing cells, including validation during initial builds and production ramp-up
Analyze opportunities for automation in machining, assembly, inspection, and material handling, developing cost-benefit analyses and implementation plans
Hands-on experience with manufacturing automation and robotics, including automated assembly, machining, inspection, or material handling systems
Experience supporting or leading automation projects, from concept and vendor selection through installation, validation, and production launch
