Business Analyst with Payments Experience

They are seeking a Payments Business Analyst with over 10 years of experience to define and analyze requirements for payment systems, ensuring efficient and secure payment processing across multiple channels.
Responsibilities
Elicit, analyze, and document business needs for new payment features, systems, or process improvements
Create user stories and detailed specifications to guide development
Demonstrate deep understanding of payment lifecycles (authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks)
Ensure compliance with industry standards (EMV, PCI-DSS)
Design efficient payment workflows and analyze existing processes to identify cost-saving and error-reduction opportunities
Recommend improvements to enhance speed and reliability
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Finance teams to translate requirements into technical solutions aligned with business objectives
Ensure payment solutions meet regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR) and internal risk policies, focusing on secure transaction processing
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate releases for new functionalities
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience as a Payments Business Analyst
Define and analyze requirements for payment systems
Focus on transaction flows, fee structures, compliance (PCI-DSS, GDPR), and process optimization
Create documentation (user stories, workflows)
Collaborate with stakeholders
Support testing
Ensure efficient, secure payment processing across multiple channels (APIs, card networks)
