Service Desk Technician I

This role involves providing Level 1 technical support for various hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and maintaining strong customer service.

Responsibilities

Monitor and process Level I ticket queues to ensure incidents and service requests are addressed in a timely manner to meet or exceed SLA metrics
Maintain strong customer service focus with desire to successfully interact with end-users and peer teams
Detailed communication with end users as required to keep all parties informed of issues, progress, changes, and resolutions
Process employee change event requests including new hires, terminations and transfers
Analyze, troubleshoot, provision, repair a wide variety of PC problems related to PCs, peripherals, and mobile devices
Identify, respond and/or escalate service impacting system alerts
Maintain commitment to continuous process improvement
Willingness to be available for after-hours support and able to work extended hours when necessary as well as be able to work rotating schedule at home and in office
All other IT tasks as assigned

Required

Must perform well in high-energy, dynamic and team-oriented environments
Adeptness with Microsoft Office 365 and productivity applications
Self-motivated achiever who gains satisfaction from providing excellent customer service
High degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion
2+ years of desktop support, customer support and/or helpdesk experience
2+ years of experience with Microsoft Operating Systems in a support role
2+ years of hands on experience with end-user support processes for workstations, servers, mobile devices and peripherals
