Brightpoint Community College is a two-year public institution of higher education and is the third largest of Virginia’s 23 community colleges. They are seeking a Manager of Information Technology Infrastructure to plan, manage, and oversee college-approved IT applications and infrastructure that support the College’s mission and operational objectives.

Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and oversee college-approved information technology applications and infrastructure required to support the College’s mission and operational objectives
Serve as the primary liaison between Brightpoint Community College and the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) for enterprise applications and related technology services
Function as a project implementation manager responsible for software development initiatives, system implementations and adoption, infrastructure installations and upgrades, and other technology-related changes
Accountable for database services, application and web development, systems analysis, networking, and server infrastructure
Supervise and manage assigned staff, including performance management, professional development, and identification of training needs
Ensure the development, maintenance, and enforcement of applicable procedures, standards, and guidelines to support consistent and effective service delivery
Perform other related duties as assigned
Lead by example and actively contribute to technical work as needed to support institutional goals

Bachelor's degree Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security or related field or any equivalent training and experience
