Responsibilities

Originate and close $10M–$20M+ annually in energy efficiency projects within target markets
Identify and develop business opportunities for chillers, boilers, HVAC optimization, controls, lighting, and water efficiency solutions
Prospect and engage with ESCOs, utilities, municipalities, and large-scale enterprise portfolios
Prepare and present investment-grade energy audits, proposals, and ROI models to prospective clients
Structure multi-measure energy projects to maximize client incentives and available funding sources
Ensure compliance with state and city rebate programs such as NJ Custom, NYC LL88 and LL97
Serve as the technical point of contact for chiller systems, controls, and lighting technologies
Coordinate closely with the custom multi-measure engineering and delivery team to move projects from audit through closeout
Manage sales pipeline and forecasting using Creatio CRM software
Implement Sandler sales methodology for effective qualification and closure of deals

Required

Demonstrated experience in engineering or technical sales for energy efficiency solutions
Strong background working with chillers, boilers, HVAC systems, controls, and lighting technologies
Proven ability to originate and close large-scale projects [$1M–$15M] within commercial, industrial, or institutional sectors
Expertise in developing and executing investment-grade audits and proposals
Ability to travel regularly throughout the Northeast region, including weekly NY/NJ trips with overnight stays as needed

Preferred

Experience selling to ESCOs, utilities, municipalities, healthcare, education, and retail clients
Familiarity with Northeast energy rebate programs such as NJ Custom and NYC LL88/LL97
Hands-on proficiency with Creatio CRM for pipeline and forecasting management
Expertise using Sandler sales methodology for relationship-based selling and client qualification
Strong history of cold outreach and developing long-term client relationships in the energy or engineering sector
