Responsibilities

Provide clinical and dual diagnosis services including individual and group therapy, relapse prevention planning, and substance use education, using evidence-based practices like motivational interviewing and harm reduction
Support consumer empowerment and recovery by promoting autonomy, informed choice, community integration, and respectful, trauma-informed care that upholds dignity, cultural sensitivity, and human rights
Coordinate and manage care as a primary case manager for assigned consumers, participating in treatment planning, assessments, documentation, and regular interdisciplinary team meetings
Build therapeutic relationships to assess client strengths, needs, and functional abilities, delivering targeted problem-solving interventions
Contribute to team development and coverage by leading dual diagnosis efforts, providing training and supervision support, attending required meetings and trainings, managing shift coverage, and participating in the 24/7 on-call rotation

Qualification

Required

Requires a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field
Massachusetts (LADC, LMHC, LCSW, OR LICSW) or license eligible required
Experience working with adults with substance abuse disorders
Valid Massachusetts drivers license

Preferred

Bilingual candidates fluent in a needed language may be eligible for a 6% salary increase
