Responsibilities
Electrical system design for mobile equipment
Controls engineering (PLC/embedded controls, sensors, actuators)
Power system design (power distribution, protection, grounding)
Ability to develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Design verification using empirical and analytical method
Application of industry standards (IEC, IEEE, UL, ISO, API as applicable)
Risk assessment and risk mitigation planning
Implementation of new technologies in electronic system design
Strong technical documentation and design review skills
Cross-disciplinary collaboration and mentoring
Self-starter with ability to work independently under broad direction
Detail-oriented, especially in design verification, safety, and documentation
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience contributing to intellectual property (patents, disclosures)
Familiarity with Reliability, Health, Safety & Environment (RHSE/HSE) principles
Experience supporting process improvement initiatives
Ability to evaluate and manage technical and project risks
Proven experience coaching and mentoring engineers
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to present technical concepts to internal and external stakeholder
Capability to represent the company at professional societies and conferences
Qualification

Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
SafeLand USA (commonly required for oil & gas environments)
Preferred
Master's or Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
H2S Awareness (preferred/required depending on exposure)
Electrical safety training (e.g., NFPA 70E) – preferred
