Business Development Representative
Blank Metal is an AI-native engineering company that partners with enterprises to deliver production AI fast. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for generating early-stage pipeline by researching accounts, engaging prospective clients, and communicating the company's AI engineering expertise.

Responsibilities
Generate qualified pipeline through targeted outbound campaigns and support for Practice Area leads. Qualify inbound leads, conduct early discovery conversations, and schedule follow‑up meetings
Communicate Blank Metal’s AI value proposition clearly in outreach, early conversations, and GTM materials
Create and refine outreach templates, sequences, and messaging frameworks
Maintain accurate prospect data in HubSpot and track key BDR metrics such as response and conversion rates
Attend select events to support lead generation and gather insights that inform outreach strategy
Collaborate with marketing on messaging, campaigns, and thought‑leadership initiatives
Use AI tools and lightweight agents to streamline prospecting, personalization, and CRM hygiene
Shadow senior team members to learn the business and understand opportunity progression
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of BD or client‑facing experience
Strong communication skills
CRM discipline
Comfort with outbound outreach and AI‑enabled workflows
Fluent in modern business development tooling and AI-enabled workflows
Strong communicator; able to navigate both technical and business conversations with confidence and clarity
Curious and eager to learn - especially about AI, enterprise challenges, and how technology drives outcomes
Comfortable with outbound outreach and energized by opening new conversations
Entrepreneurial and self-directed - you thrive in dynamic environments where structure is built, not inherited
Comfortable and credible representing Blank Metal publicly, both in-person and online
Open to travel for clients, partners, conferences, etc
