Responsibilities
Configures, installs, maintains and upgrades computer systems hardware and software
Administers and maintains security of operating systems
Restores files or systems by designing, writing and implementing back-up procedures
Provides operational support for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment such as application servers, database servers, web servers, desktops, printers and storage devices
Performs recovery procedures, scheduling and back-ups and monitors batch processes
Maintains and supports the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems
Performs systems maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery, and file maintenance to promote uptime and efficient performance
Acquires, installs, and tests system software upgrades and computer components
Configures software and resolves technical problems
Maintains documentation of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting procedures
Performs user management along with end-user support needs from Service Requests
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Discipline/Major: Information Technology or other technical degree preferred
