Responsibilities
Perform complex software design and development activities for automation products
Design and develop software subsystems aligned with functional safety requirements
Participate in system, software requirements, and design reviews
Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and compliance
Design, implement, and maintain unit tests
Interpret and apply standards, specifications, and technical documentation to assigned tasks
Independently analyze and resolve technical issues, including root cause analysis and report preparation
Contribute to quality, reliability, and process improvement initiatives
Assist in project planning and scheduling activities and ensure adherence to defined timelines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (preferred), or
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with strong software development background
Candidates currently pursuing relevant degrees may also be considered
0–3 years of software development experience
Proficiency in C# or Java
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and results-oriented
Good interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
No domestic or international travel required (0%)
Preferred
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as NUnit or JUnit
Proficiency with XML
Familiarity with Industrial Automation Control Systems, including:
PLCs
Engineering tools such as Siemens TIA Portal
Fundamental programming using LAD (Ladder Logic) and SCL (Structured Control Language)
