Robert Half Executive Search is seeking a Head of Human Resources for a rapidly growing, niche construction company that has been providing services across the United States for over 30 years. The role involves providing strategic HR leadership, overseeing recruitment, employee relations, and compliance programs, while building relationships with operational departments and trade schools.

Responsibilities
Provide overall strategic HR leadership across the company, including recruitment, compensation, performance evaluation, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance programs
Hire and supervise HR department staff
Serve as the main point of contact for all HR guidance within the organization
Coordinate and consult with operational departments on HR policies
Build trusting work relationships with field personnel
Develop strong recruiting relationships with trade schools and community colleges across the U.S
Travel required: approximately 30% to 50%
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in a human resources function
Strong supervisory/leadership skills
Excellent communication skills with both company executives and field personnel
Experience working with an hourly employee demographic
Preferred
Construction or related industry experience is a plus
