Tax Specialist

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage a portfolio of branch offices
Manage and remit via the IRS EFTPS system estimated tax payments as provided by CPA
Track annual Association income tax return filing process
Track Association Sales Tax returns based on filing requirements
Track Use Tax returns based on filing requirements
Track Association Income Tax returns as assigned
Track annual state tax filings
Oversee and manage audit process as assigned
Perform bank reconciliations as needed
Other duties as assigned

Required

Knowledge of IRS and state tax codes
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level

Professional customer service skills
Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player
Time management and time critical prioritization skills
High School Diploma or GED Required
0 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience
