GenOps Engineer
Siemens Energy is an energy technology company with a global presence, committed to developing sustainable energy systems. The Generator Operations Engineer will lead teams to enhance maintenance processes for the generator fleet and support service offices with outage planning and execution.

Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and optimizing processes to improve safety, quality, and schedule of generator outages
Responsible for developing training criteria for technicians and engineers on specialized tooling and equipment
Responsible for seeking and implementing cost savings projects
Support field service organization as technical support or field engineer during peak outage season when demands dictate
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
Determined and resourceful to achieve goals independently in addition to working well in groups
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work for yourself and others, under strict timelines and being flexible to changing needs
Excellent technical writing skills and effective communication (verbal/written) abilities
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and ability to learn others as needed)
Flexibility and willingness for domestic and international travel 20%
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
Preferred
Prior experience with Siemens Energy's customers, equipment, and processes is a plus!
