Responsibilities

Assist in executing debt and tax equity financings, including owning the model, assisting with deliverables and diligence efforts, and coordinating with investors, legal advisors and consultants to achieve financial close
Coordinate with the corporate development and construction teams to ensure construction and term financings are properly suited to development and construction timelines
Assist in developing financing strategies for presentation to senior management
Support the VP, Capital Markets and Treasury on projects to enhance financial management of the organization
Contribute to a flexible, dynamic, and team-oriented working culture that fosters personal development and a positive attitude

Required

Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent
2+ years of previous experience in project finance or investment banking
Experience in financial modeling and familiarity with tax equity and debt structures
Strong leadership skills, including a strong sense of personal ownership, commitment, and accountability
High level of proficiency in Excel and Power Point and strong financial modeling skills
Well organized and ability to synthesize and conceptualize complex ideas
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, effective with both internal and external stakeholders
Solid analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Able to meet multiple objectives in a dynamic, fast-paced, team environment

Preferred

Experience in renewables would be an asset
Recognized professional designation (CFA, CPA) would be an asset
