Responsibilities
Define and govern enterprise-level technical architecture across application, data, and integration layers
Design scalable hybrid architectures spanning on-premise environments and Microsoft Azure Cloud
Establish secure API and service frameworks using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, encryption standards, and compliance best practices
Architect and guide development of modular, service-oriented applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST-based microservices
Design and optimize data processing, streaming, and event-driven pipelines to support analytics and downstream systems (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Kafka, Azure Event Hub)
Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data flow, governance, retention, and quality models
Evaluate and integrate AI/ML capabilities where automation, personalization, or predictive insights create measurable value
Provide architectural oversight to ensure performance, scalability, resilience, and cost optimization
Partner with enterprise and security architects to ensure alignment with cloud governance, security, and compliance standards
Mentor engineering teams, lead technical design reviews, and ensure solution integrity and forward compatibility
Qualification
Required
10–15 years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years in solution or enterprise architecture roles
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure services, including: App Services, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, Event Hub, Key Vault
Strong foundation in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and enterprise integration patterns
Proven experience designing data pipelines, streaming architectures, and event-driven systems
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and cloud-based AI services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services preferred)
Strong understanding of security, identity, and compliance frameworks in enterprise environments
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, architects, and cross-functional teams
Preferred
