Responsibilities
Greet customers with genuine hospitality, resolve issues with professionalism, and ensure each interaction is smooth and positive
Review daily goals, learn about new products and promotions, and prepare the store for success
Receive merchandise, tag items, or organize the stockroom with energy and focus
Focus on the customer by building trust through personal, helpful interactions
Maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, restocking merchandise, and supporting merchandise moves
Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have all they need, and end with a sincere thank-you
Organize the stockroom, complete orders, and set the team up for the next day’s success
Qualification
Required
Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
Must be able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
Meeting daily sales goal challenges
Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information
Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities; you can work on your own but are great with team dynamics
This position requires talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands
Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 30lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders, reaching, including above eye level
Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
