MOOD is an ambitious, mission-driven mental health startup reinventing the care experience to help patients live their best lives. They are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide psychiatric care to patients aged 11 and up, offering both in-person and telehealth services.

Responsibilities

Provide in-person and telehealth psychiatric care to adolescents (11+) and adults
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Prescribe and manage medications, with careful attention to safety, efficacy, and patient education
Maintain timely and complete clinical documentation in accordance with state and practice standards
Participate in case consultations and peer collaboration
Build strong therapeutic rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds

Qualification

California PMHNP licenseCalifornia DEA licenseAdolescentsAdultsEHR proficiencyTelehealth platformsHybrid care deliverySpanish fluency

Required

Active California PMHNP license and California furnishing number
Active or pending California DEA license
2+ years of experience treating adolescents (ages 11–17) and adults
Experience diagnosing and treating: ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder
Comfort with hybrid care delivery: in-person and virtual
Proficiency with EHR and telehealth platforms

Preferred

Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required
Monday to Friday availability preferred; some weekend availability a plus
