They are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide technical support for the Education & Training Center at Scott AFB, ensuring the operability of classroom and testing room technology systems.

Responsibilities

Perform daily maintenance and troubleshooting of PCs, multimedia projection systems, printers, servers, switches/routers, wireless services, and audio-visual equipment
Install and configure hardware/software; perform upgrades and virus protection
Support instructors and test administrators with login and technical issues
Manage inventory and documentation of all tech equipment
Maintain network systems and recommend improvements
Provide user training on classroom technology as requested

Required

Proven experience in hardware and software support for educational or similar environments
Expertise in Windows Server and Windows OS troubleshooting
Familiarity with classroom technology systems (Smart Boards, multimedia projection, AV systems)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently without on-site supervision
Must pass background checks and comply with DoD/Air Force security requirements
