Longo Toyota Service Valet
Penske Motor Group, through Longo Toyota, is seeking Service Valets to enhance the guest experience by managing vehicle movement and maintaining a professional appearance in the service department. The role involves driving vehicles, ensuring lot security, and assisting with various tasks within the service department.
Retail
Responsibilities
Install and remove disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and ID tags in all the vehicles brought in for service
Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot
Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner
Ensure all vehicles in the service parking lot are secured
Assist in moving disabled vehicles in or around the service department
Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot
Help maintain a professional appearance of the service departments
Inspect each vehicle for lot damage that may have been occurred during the vehicle’s stay in the service department
Must follow all company safety policies and practices
Assist in all other areas of the service department, as needed. This includes closing duties – taking out the trash for tech stalls, etc
Maintain high ethical standards
Maintain professional appearance
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma or equivalent
Ability to coordinate activities with other employees; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public
Must have a valid driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
Frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach with their body, arms, and/or legs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions including low and high temperatures, precipitation and wind, noisy environments, and small and/or enclosed spaces
Adjusting, moving, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds
Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods
Frequently operating motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment
Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
Preferred
Minimum of six (6) months customer service experience, desired
